Skills over signals. Value over vanity.
At the end of every FastTrack course, we ask participants: “What’s this course worth to you?”
We wrapped our latest cohort yesterday.
The average response: over $40,000 or 8x the cost.
We don’t share that number to brag. We share it because it tells us something important: people are walking away with skills that matter. And if they weren’t, we’d rethink how we spend our time.
Why does it work?
1. Alignment
FastTrack isn’t open enrollment. It’s not built around resumes, GPAs, or test scores. It’s built around focus and fit.
Shared commitment shifts everything, even on Zoom. This cohort’s satisfaction scores around the online experience exceeded 90%, which is common with our approach.
And this isn’t just for entry-level talent. Some of our strongest participants are mid-career professionals and high-performing associates leveling up, filling blind spots, and sharpening their edge.
[Special thanks to John Lewis Barber for assembling a group that brought discipline, humility, and curiosity every week. You set the tone.]
2. Curriculum
We focus on eight core fundamentals and four transaction types that drive the industry. The content is extensive but no filler and no theory for theory’s sake.
But the real difference comes from the people who bring it to life. This time, we were joined by:
MDs and Global IC members, Greystar
Vice Chairman, Stream Realty
SVP, Trammell Crow Company
Head of Operations and Valuations, Invesco
Founder, Lone Pine
MD and Head of Asset Management, ACORE
MD, Trammell Crow Company
Co-head of Real Estate and Asset Management, Canyon Partners
[To our speakers, thank you for showing up with candor and generosity. We won’t tag you here to avoid jamming your inbox, but know that you made a real impact.]
3. Exercise-based learning
You can’t memorize how to negotiate a JV or structure a recap. You need frameworks and reps.
That’s where our team leaders come in, guiding teams through real-world exercises while managing full-time roles themselves.
[To our team leads: your generosity, clarity, and commitment to developing peers makes all the difference. Seeing your growth and leadership is a privilege.]
Final thoughts
We don’t take any of this for granted. The value of the program comes from the people in the room. Hungry students, honest speakers, committed coaches.
Congrats to the newest alumni. Stay engaged and leverage this platform!
