Institutional investors aren't known for candor. White papers and annual outlooks tend to repeat the same themes: private credit, multifamily, industrial.
But we recently came across Ares’ Alternative Credit Newsletter, packed with insightful anecdotes and analysis. Then, tucked in the back, we found something rare: 15 unfiltered “lessons learned” from Ares Management Corporation co-head of alternative credit, Joel Holsinger.
Agree or not, it’s refreshing to see such honesty from one of the industry’s dominant firms.
